HazMat ist eine Ausstellungstrilogie von Sandra Havlicek, Tina Kohlmann und Katharina Schücke. In ihrem temporären unterirdischen Labor, HazMatLab, betreiben die drei Künstlerinnen chemische und alchemistische Experimente mit Materialien aus unterschiedlichen Bereichen wie z.B. Kosmetik, Raumfahrttechnik und Autotuning. Sie sind spezialisiert auf Formwandlungsprozesse. Der Ausgang dieser Experimente ist naturgemäß ungewiss. In drei Ausstellungen die für den basis Projektraum entwickelt werden präsentieren sie Aspekte ihrer Forschung.
HazMat is an exhibition trilogy by Sandra Havlicek, Tina Kohlmann and Katharina Schücke. The artists operate out of their temporary subterranean laboratory, HazMatLab, where they work on chemical and alchemical experiments with materials from different fields like cosmetics, space technology and car tuning. The artists specialize in dismantling metamorphic processes. Naturally, the outcome of these experiments is open. In three exhibitions at basis Projektraum multible aspects of their research are presented.
