Bio/Statement:
Swiss-Italian Nicole Pallecchi is the Deputy Head of 3sat Switzerland, the broadcasting company for the three German-speaking countries: Germany, Austria and Switzerland. She is editorially in charge of documentaries and responsible for the program planning of the Swiss content for 3sat. She worked for many years for Swiss Radio and Television and 3sat as an editor and reporter for news and cultural broadcastings.
As a filmmaker she has pursued her own projects over the years and in 2011 she exhibited her work at the Museum Bellerive in Zurich. In 2017, her film about the Nazi art dealer Bruno Lohse was presented at the German Historical Museum in Berlin. In October 2022 her film about the artist Dolores Wyss was screened at the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart. She started her film career in video arts and exhibited in her beginnings at the Aargauer Kunsthaus and Kunsthalle Basel. She founded the exhibition series “veni vidi video” at Forumclaque in Baden and curated it for several years.
The documentary film “Time with Andre Ricardo” was realized within the framework of a course she took at the New York Film Academy in the Fall 2022. The short film was made in collaboration with Jone Salygaite, Adebowale Williams and Lana Stepanova and was shown at the Brazilian Consulate in New York
