This groundbreaking exhibition brings together 10 accomplished Cuban artists who live and work on the New Jersey shores of the Hudson River. Although they do not constitute a group or school with a specific aesthetic or thematic interest, many connections can be traced in their work. Most importantly, they are part of a vibrant enclave of Cuban intellectuals settled in the area who are shaping the conversation on Cuban art and Cuban identity in the North today.
