A few month ago Frankie the documentarian robot and Maayan Sheleff were invited for a residency at RU. The two wonderful months culminated with some interview sessions, as part of the exhibition “Body, Language” at RU. Frankie the robot interviews people and documents them, attempting to ‘learn’ what it means to be human. She has surveillance camera eyes, some robotic engines that generate camera movement, and a cell phone brain with a persistent chat- bot.
