Christopher Fulton

Christopher Fulton is a professor at the University of Louisville and scholar of Italian Renaissance and modern Mexican art. He has published a book on the Medici family’s art collection and numerous articles on Italian and Mexican topics. He has had experience working in museums and recently co-curated an exhibition of paintings by the Mexican muralist David Alfaro Siqueiros. He is currently involved in a research and curatorial project related to Rodin’s Thinker, in collaboration with personnel at Musée Rodin, Paris, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. While active at RU he will conduct research on Rodin and will work with sculptors in the program and around the city.

Christopher Fulton’s 2 months residency (June-July 2013) is supported by the Hite Art Institute.
