Bio/Statement:

Ayelet Amrani Navon explores themes of transience and intimacy. Contemplating what it means to be human, in a human body, and what it means to encounter another. She focuses on painting, sculpture and participatory installations that contain “a place to meet”, environments where human connection can be amplified and experimented with. These environments are the sites of one-to-one encounters where she is bodily present with a participant and through which she attempts to achieve a person-to-person reaction. She uses voice, sensory stimulation and principles of psychoanalytic theory. Growing up questioning the idea of attachment to land, alongside a perpetual sense of wandering, she explores forms of belonging and intimacy in circumstances of transition, impermanence, and change. Her work was presented mainly in not-for-profit spaces, such as artist-run, municipal and museum venues.

Her work has been exhibited at the MUZA Eretz Israel Museum, the Tel-Aviv Biennale of Crafts and Design, Tel-Aviv, Israel (2024); the Umm el-Fahem Museum of Art, Israel/Palestine (2021); and Saatchi Gallery, London (2022). Her upcoming show is scheduled in 2027 at the Petach Tikvah Art Museum, Israel. Her solo exhibitions include: Compassion /Command Center, Municipal Art Gallery Rishon Letzion, Rishon LeZion, Israel (2025); Cyclical Black White Pink Gold, Maya Gallery, Tel Aviv (2024); Privileged Space, The Lab, Tel-Aviv (2024). Amrani Navon has also featured in many group exhibitions, among them: Coexistence, Studio 18 Petach Tikvah in conjunction with Petach Tikvah Art Museum, Israel (2026); Cross Crossings to Cross, NARS Foundation Gallery, NY, USA (2025); Health Center- Tribe of Life, ZUZU Gallery, Emek Chefer Industrial Park, Israel (2024); Delta Gamma, Saatchi Gallery, London, (2022). Most recently, Amrani Navon was invited as inaugural artist to the Rotem Berlin Salon residency in Berlin (2026), and commissioned to create an original performance work for the ArtNeuroVerse Biennale exhibition ‘Corporeal’ at the Bat-Yam Art Institute, Israel (2026).
