RU alumnus, Otavio Schipper was recently featured on an episode of Art World Innovators (airing on 101.5 UMFM, the University of Manitoba radio station) where he spoke with host Susan Cohn about his combined interest in art, science, music and the importance of establishing connections and seeking new and different perspectives about ones work. Schipper was a resident at RU in 2013 and he speaks about how his time in New York with Residency Unlimited opened up a new landscape of possibilities in his practice by connecting him to a dynamic network of people, ideas, and perspectives.
