As an artist with international practice in urban art Brandstifter was selected and invited for the artist residency Kuenstlerdorf Schoeppingen Foundation in Germany. The stipend is connected with Lost & Found urban art projects in North Rhine-Westphalia. Brandstifter uses his studio as an headquarter for Asphaltbibliotheque occupations, mirroring the cities by found list installation, performance as well as readings

The exhibition project “Inside the City” will focus on the changed constellations in and around the public space, and explore the means by which those constellations have been mirrored, subverted, adopted or in general addressed in contemporary artistic production since 1960. What stance do artists take in these contexts?
