I cannot put into words how transformative my internship at Residency Unlimited has been. Coming from a minority community in the global south, I often struggled with feeling confident in this industry but I was able to come into my own here. This is, in no small part, thanks to the amazing team that I worked with who encouraged me to be myself while equipping me with the practical skills necessary to become a reliable arts administrator. Through working closely with artists and curators on their performances and exhibitions, I was able to hone my skills to discover where my passions truly lie. If you are interested in launching a career in the arts, I would recommend RU in a heartbeat.
