Ace Hotel New York and Residency Unlimited (RU) present Artist Brunch Chat— a series of intimate and low key discussions at The Breslin in New York City. These open-format meetings serve as a dedicated time and place for artists to engage with new communities, old friends, and everyone in between. This month’s guest is RU artist-in-residence Mari Mathlin, who will host an intimate dialog around the possibilities and options one has if choosing to practice outside of the proverbial art box structures. A range of topics will include art practice as a tool for working in dialogue with the public; individual freedom and the expectations and requirements of the art world, and social media.

Brunch will include:
Croissant with butter
Choice of frittata or yogurt or oatmeal
Green juice
Coffee Or tea
