Cities, landscape, displacement, in-between spaces and the construction of identity are central themes to Ana Bilankov‘s work. They correspond with social and political or historic context of the place in which they are realized, concurrently reflecting on the inner psychological conditions, experiences, personal stories and traumas of a specific locality.
Tonight’s screening spans almost a decade of Bilankov’s production. She will discuss her manifold approaches to subject matter and working methods with RU’s program director Boshko Boskovic.
