“Goliath” by Stephan Goldrajch, a trans-disciplinary performance

Saturday April 19, 2014

8pm – $15 at the door
The Invisible Dog Art Center
51 Bergen Street

By co-hosting Stephan Goldrajch‘s residency with The Invisible Dog Art Center, RU is thrilled to announce its first residency collaboration with our esteemed neighbor.  At the outcome of his stay, the Belgian artist Goldrajch will present “Goliath” a new trans-disciplinary performance incorporating masks, textiles, ritual, and movement that is inspired by the story of David & Goliath for the making of this project. The piece is part of this year’s CATCH 61 and will culminate with an installation in the garden at The Invisible Dog Art Center.

Featured Artists at CATCH: Laurie Berg, William Burke, Lisa Clair, Sean Donovan, Stephan Goldrajch, GRANDMA, New Saloon, Steven Reker, David Thomson, Saúl Ulerio !

CATCH is a hydra-headed, multi-disciplinary, rough and ready performance series-event that whirls through Brooklyn every couple of months. CATCH is curated with delicate irreverence by Jeff Larson, Andrew Dinwiddie and Caleb Hammons.
