During this residency, I discovered the importance of institutional partnerships. During this time, I made connections with art spaces and other artist residencies in NYC that may lead to future partnerships. I connected with many artists who will likely participate in my residency project in São Paulo, and opportunities arose to curate exhibitions of international artists in Brazil.
