Residency Unlimited NY was a tremendous opportunity to create new work, network with other art industry professionals, and deepen my practice over a three month intensive that included weekly check in meetings and studio visits. We received adequate financial support that enabled us to create new work and take time away from pursuing other financial endeavors so that we were able to dedicate time to our weekly residency meetings. Jesse independently mentored us throughout the residency, which is a rarity and my artistic practice has grown and evolved because of this experience. Most importantly, I have new work to add to my studio that I intend to continue as a new series, something that would not have happened nor been possible had I not been selected to participate in this residency.
