For Residency Unlimited’s “Artist Presents“ series the Spanish artist, José Moñú, discusses his creative process and technique he has been doing for 15 years.
Moñú presents recent works that he has completed during his 2021 residency at RU and Artists Alliance INC. His characters are born out of everyday situations from everyday life. Their bodies are static while their heads are very animated, dynamic. This choice represents today’s way of life where we are saturated with information, which is especially true in large cities.
