How can organizations post a Residency Open Call or Opportunity?
In order to post information as an organization to the RU Opportunities section, you must first sign up for a new account.
The RU Oppportunities listing service is only for artist residency programs.
Orgnization applicants must read these FAQs before registration.
All accounts are manually screened and activated by the RU Team.
Publishing Criteria
The RU Oppportunities listing service is only for artist residency programs.
The service does not publish Contests, Juried Exhibitions, Publications, etc.. unless there is a clear residency component. (development of new works or artistic practice and travel of the artist are both acceptable factors).
If you are unsure about posting criteria or have any questions, please let us know.
I’m searching for artist residency information, should I register?
Individual artists do not need to register in order to view listed opportunities.
Anyone can view Opportunities with Deadlines, Ongoing, or can use our Opportunities Search Page to find artist residency opportunities.
You can also signup to a Weekly Email Digest, that goes out every Tuesday morning and includes the previous week’s published open calls.
All published data is free and open to the public.
Can RU put me in touch with an artist organization?
Always try to contact the listed organizations directly should you have questions regarding provided information.
Every listing has a website link and many have direct contact information within their descriptions.
RU is not directly affiliated with the organizations or residency programs listed in the Opportunities section.
Can I support the Opportunities section?
We have been providing this service to artists while promoting organizations and residency programs free of charge since 2009.
