My time at Residency Unlimited reminded me that art is fundamentally about connection. RU creates far more than professional opportunities. It creates the conditions for meaningful encounters between people, ideas, places, and practices. The conversations, relationships, and exchanges I experienced during my residency will continue to shape my work long after my time in New York.
