My residency at RU was an incredibly fascinating and meaningful period for me. The support from the entire RU team for both me and my project, which I was able to develop over just a two month period, was amazing. I greatly enjoyed working in the studio on Governors Island and being part of the group exhibition, which was a wonderful opportunity to present both existing works and the project I developed during the residency. The meetings with fellow artists who shared their artistic practices, the interactions with curators, and the trips to art institutions and museums, all of which included encounters with curators and art professionals, enriched me and made my time at RU an unforgettable experience.
