RU’s residency program was uniquely tailored to my needs as a New York based artist. The honoraria was incredibly helpful in creating space and dedicated time for creating new work. Utilizing the organization’s relationship and institutional rapport was also incredibly fruitful– we were able to meet and have studio visits with curators, writers and administrators that would normally be out-of-network.
This was one of the most effective residencies I’ve been part of. Both administratively (with the support of curator-extraordinaire, Jesse) and professionally.
