Featuring RU artist Renea Begolli in the RU voices interview series 🎤
Renea’s diverse artistic work explores intimacy, gender, memory, isolation, body, spaces, ecological and social issues, these being primarily expressed through paintings, drawings, installations, and video art. Her work was showcased in the exhibition “House of Confluence: Far and Near” at the RU House on Governors Island. We had the pleasure of meeting her at RU in Carroll Garden to discuss her residency, exhibitions and creative process.
We are thrilled to present our artists in residence through intimate interviews which delve into their character, works and relationship with this awe inspiring city!
