Mariko Takashima is an arts-administrator with a strong interest to effectively merge the arts and the public in meaningful ways through site specific works that inspire dialogue around environmental issues, sustainability and community revitalization. Mariko holds a Master’s degree in Visual Arts Administration from New York University, and has extensive experience working and interning at various arts organizations across the city. A former intern at Residency Unlimited working on Project H.E.A.L. with an Artist + Entrepreneur Co-Innovation Accelerator in Louisville, Kentucky (funded by an NEA Our Town grant), Mariko is excited to rejoin RU as Communications Manager.
