Dr. Larisa Leventon (elected in 2016) is Professor of the Practice and Academic Director for Master’s Technology Leadership program at Brown University. She is also an entrepreneur, investor, and imaging technology innovator. Dr. Leventon has made scientific and technical contributions in the fields of medical visualization, diagnostic image analysis, and surgical navigation applications. Prior to her consulting and entrepreneurial ventures, Dr. Leventon managed equity investment portfolios for several NYC-based hedge funds. She holds an Sc.B. in Mathematics with Computer Science from MIT, an Sc.M. in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Brown University, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
