About
2022 RU artist Meret Wasser is a freelance dancer, choreographer, and dramaturge actively engaged in different projects. As a dancer, she has participated in numerous stage productions, such as déplace-toi which toured in Switzerland and Germany, and King Arthur at the Stadttheater Biel-Solothurn. In 2019 she premiered her first solo piece body in body out, which deals with corporeality and questions the value of the body in the present time. In 2019, together with Ilona Siwek, Meret co-founded the dance collective Rapilento which operates as a production base and collaborative platform for the presentation of cross-disciplinary projects by dancers, musicians, and guests. Meret is a passionate advocate for dance and music teachings and is interested in artistic scientific research.
Anne Parichon-Buoncore was born in France. She started her training as a child with Ballet. Later, while exploring different styles of dance, she joined the Academie Internationale de Danse in Paris. She, then, moved to New York to study at the Martha Graham School, and obtained a scholarship at JMTW. She has worked with Allan Mc Cormick, Charlotte Colmant, Carrie Ahern, Jen Chin Dance, Variety Pack Collective and is the Artistic Director of APDANCE Inc. She is also deeply involved in the community where she teaches dance to children at Dancewave and with Brooklyn Community Services.
2022 RU artist Eva Giolo (Belgium) is an audio-visual artist working in film, video, and installation. Her work places particular focus on the female experience, employing experimental and documentary strategies to explore themes of intimacy, permanence and memory, along with the analysis of language and semiotics. Giolo uses her camera to capture the “mundane” moments of the everyday to reveal their hidden depth.
