Kaiyun Liu is an arts administrator currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Media, Culture, and Communication at New York University. She holds a BA in Art History from McGill University and has worked in the Exhibitions Department at the UCCA Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing. Kaiyun is experienced in exhibition project management, artist management, and art handling. Her academic research focuses on the semiotics of animals in contemporary art in cross-cultural contexts. During her internship at RU, she looks forward to engaging with resident artists, contributing to the development of their projects, and gaining deeper insights into the inner workings of an arts organization.
