Location: Huon Valley, Tasmania, Australia

Duration: 2 weeks to 3 months

Eligibility: The Residency Program is open to emerging and established practitioners, both Australian and international, working with any creative medium or project. This program is also suitable for collaborative group residencies.

Support: We provide studio / accommodation space, three communal meals daily and opportinities to host performances or exhibitions. Scholarships available (see below).

Costs: Between $380 - $620 AUD per week depending on the chosen space. This price includes all meals. Self-funded applicants may apply for a Dreamfarm Scholarship which covers 50% of all fees.

Program Description:

A self-directed program, a Dreamfarm Creative Residency is a time for research, experimentation, development, growth and the production of new work. The Residency Program is open to emerging and established practitioners, both Australian and international, working with any creative medium or project. This program is also suitable for collaborative group residencies.

Dreamfarm will provide accommodation, work space, an inspiring environment and full catering.
While all projects will be considered, preference is given to work which unites environmental and artistic pursuits or which drives positive social change.

Facilities & Resources:
- Accommodation & studio space.
- Three communal meals daily.
- Use of shared spaces including library, lounge, workshop space and patio.
- Use of all creative materials and equipment we have available, including the piano.
- Acres of permaculture gardens, native bushland and river frontage to explore, outdoor creative projects welcome.
- Beautiful valley views and proximity to wilderness nature trails.
- Opportunity to host performances or exhibitions on site.
- Option to participate in other activities happening on site, such as yoga and dance classes.
