Applications are now open for The Networked Curator, a three day intensive digital literacy workshop organized by the Association of Art Museum Curators (AAMC) Foundation and the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media (RRCHNM) at George Mason University (GMU).

Held February 7 to 9, 2018 at the Getty Center in Los Angeles, California, this workshop will provide 12–15 participants with an expanded digital vocabulary and expand their knowledge of best practices for organizing, sharing, and publishing research online. Within the span of three days, curators will have the opportunity to not only collect various digital resources, but to also collaborate with other participants, brainstorm new projects, and work interactively with database and research technologies.

The workshop is open to art curators in the non-commercial sector working with or without direct or full-time museum affiliation, and representative of fields of study, stages of career, self-identifiers, and geographical location.

All application material is due by Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 12pm ET, and must be submitted digitally in PDF format to programs@artcurators.org. Click here to download the application, and for more information about The Networked Curator and AAMC Foundation, please visit the AAMC site.
