Pedro Motta and PAISAGEM SUSPENSA – 2010/2012

During Pedro Motta’s residency, we organized the shooting for part  of the series “Paisagem Suspensa”. The project consisted in identifying locations throughout the city to photograph a helium filled balloon floating over city infrastructure. A red weather balloon and a helium tank was procured, and we did a test shoot at a location in Long Island City.

Unfortunatelly after a day of preparation, the shoot was not successful due to perilous weather conditions. The work was finalized digitally. Nonetheless, we feel it important to showcase the process of the project, since it reflects the attention to the projects our residents want to produce.
